The hospitality and tourism awards are set to return to the Royal Hall in June – and nominations are now open to crown the best of the best in Harrogate.
Organizers of the annual awards said they wanted nominations from “everyone in the industry; whatever its size. »
Presenters and organizers David Ritson and Simon Cotton met earlier this month and are urging everyone to get involved with this year’s awards.
The event will take place on Monday June 12 at Harrogate’s Royal Hall.
David Ritson, General Manager of the Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate, said:
“We always appreciate the support we receive for the awards, recent times have been difficult and our industry has been affected as much as most.
“It’s time to look to the future and the awards are a great opportunity to reward your employees and your company by nominating them.
“We know that for those nominated and shortlisted, this is a great honor for them and a good opportunity to celebrate success.”
“Once again, people can stay in touch with all our awards news via social media and in the Harrogate Announcer, your Harrogate Radio and on Twitter (@HHTAAwards).
“This will be our fifteenth year since we established the awards and we are still proud and very humbled that they have always been very well supported with almost 1000 nominations each year.”
Simon Cotton said:
“We are thrilled to present the awards once again and look forward to hearing all the fantastic stories from those who have been nominated.
“We would like to remind everyone that nominations are not based on volume but on quality.”
“A well-written nomination expressing why the nominee is elected and what they have done that makes them the best of the best is worth more than several votes in a few words.
“We are looking for everyone in the tourism industry to join us again this year and support the awards; from large corporations to freelancers, teams and individuals, we have an award that covers all that is great in the district, so we invite you to vote for your favorite now!
The organizers are proud to announce that they have a new sponsor this year at Harrogate Christmas & Gift Fair, which is sponsoring the Receptionist of the Year category.
Simon Anslow is the fair’s director. He said:
“Our trade show has been held in Harrogate for over 70 years, attracting thousands of exhibitors and visitors from around the world to the city.
“We love the atmosphere that prevails in the neighborhood during the fair and appreciate the warmth with which the city welcomes our visitors year after year.
“We are proud to sponsor the Receptionist of the Year category; the reception teams are the first impression of our customers and we know how important a good welcome, a warm smile and efficient service are to our customers.
“We have been involved over the years with Simon and David as wine sponsors for the awards and are very proud to become the sponsors of Receptionist of the Year. We can’t wait to see the nominations, the ever-difficult task of picking a winner and celebrating with everyone on the evening at the Royal Hall twinkle.
