Innovators drive the world and North Texas has proven to be a key hub of innovation, pioneering new ideas and breakthroughs across a wide range of industries. Each year, Dallas Innovates and the CEO of D celebrate the boldest local innovators who have stood out, putting our region at the forefront of what’s new and future.
Dallas Innovates and the CEO of D announced the winners of the 2023 Innovation Awards during a private event Thursday at On the Levee in the Dallas Design District. The Innovation Awards recognize leaders, entrepreneurs and trailblazers who are leading the way in innovation in North Texas.
The program had 68 finalists who are recognized in the January/February issue of D CEO. Winners are the cream of the culture of innovation, disrupting their industries (healthcare, logistics, education, finance, manufacturing, etc.) and creating new products and opportunities.

The new 27,500 square foot headquarters, in partnership with UT Dallas, anchors Richardson’s 1,200 acre Innovation District. A vision planning masterpiece for years, it’s a catalyst for driving innovation and nurturing collaborations and attracting hundreds of entrepreneurial companies. Six new UT Dallas research centers will initially launch at IQ headquarters, helping to build businesses and commercialize research coming from the neighboring university. “We are a global presence,” Richardson Mayor Paul Voelker said at the event. “And the vision we have here is that we will be a global influencer in technology and innovation.”
