The dimension-hopping adventure Everything Everywhere All at Once topped Tuesday’s list of films nominated for this year’s Oscars, earning 11 nominations that include a spot in the prestigious Best Picture race.

Others in the running for best picture include Steven Spielberg’s coming-of-age flick The Fabelmans, the splashy Elvis biopic and Avatar: The Way of Water, James Cameron’s smash hit sequel. currently ranks as the sixth highest-grossing film of all time.

Riz Ahmed and Allison Williams announced the 95th Los Angeles Oscar nominations on Tuesday morning

Top Gun: Maverick, Tar, Triangle of Sadness, Women Talking and All Quiet on the Western Front are also up for grabs.

The Oscars and other entertainment awards shows struggle to attract viewers, especially younger ones who spend time on TikTok and YouTube.

Last year’s Oscars show, when Will Smith slapped presenter Chris Rock before winning best actor, drew an estimated 15.4 million viewers, the second-lowest audience ever.
