KEEN photographers are invited to support an animal rescue center that welcomes more animals – but receives fewer donations.
Wrantage-based St Giles Animal Rescue is desperate to raise much needed funds.
Among the initiatives launched by the charity is a digital photography contest.
It is divided into age groups and the subjects of the photos entered in the contest must have fur, feathers, fins or scales.
You don’t need an expensive camera because many cell phones these days are capable of taking some pretty amazing photos.
All you have to do is get creative and capture that winning shot, pets, wildlife. As long as the subject is an animal, you could be onto a winner.
To enter you will need to upload your entries to the events page by clicking HERE before the midnight closing date on Tuesday 28th February – it costs just £2 to enter.
Winners from each age group will be selected by charity boss Tim Lethaby, the County Gazette’s editor and will have their photos featured along with their photo canvas.
